An important part of your workout is your warmup. Long gone are the days where you stretch cold muscles before your workout…we now incorporate “dynamic stretches” into our warmup with fluid movements. Dynamic stretching uses speed of movement, momentum and active muscular effort to bring about a stretch. When squatting, please make sure to drop chest slightly, dig heels into the ground, rear end back – on the way up, drive the power from your hips and exhales, squeezing your glutes.
